A concert that no one will want to miss, Christina Aguilera will be performing live at the Superpages.com Center August 10th at 7:30pm. Leona Lewis is the special guest performing with Christina Aguilera for this concert.
Christina Aguilera has come such a long way. I remember one her first songs “Genie in a Bottle” was one of my favorite songs. Then she followed that up with 2 amazing albums “Stripped” and “Back to the Basics.” I will have to say that “Back to the Basics” was my favorite CD. It really showed how talented she is as an artist and you could really feel her emotions in each song.
She has sold more than 25 million albums worldwide, achieved four 1 singles on the Billboard hot 100 chart, and has won three Grammy Awards and a Latin Grammy Award, as well as two top five albums in the United States. I can’t wait to go see her perform live. Every time I see her on TV my eyes are glued to the TV. Are you going to be going to the Christina concert?
Dollar Days at the Dallas Zoo

Are you looking for something fun and cheap to do? This Thursday is Dollar Day at the Dallas Zoo. Admission is only $1 and the zoo is opening at 8a.m. There are so many new things at the zoo, I am stoked!
Below are some of the things that I can’t wait to do are:
- Feeding the giraffes.
- Going on the camel ride in ZooNorth.
- Seeing the baby colobus monkey that was just born in June
Not only is admission going to be a dollar, but they are also having $1 food items such as hot dogs, chips, popcorn, and snow cones on Cat Green and $1 frozen treats near the exit. I am planning on taking my niece and nephew. It is a cheap trip and will be a great way to spend time together.
My favorite part about the Dallas Zoo is watching the tigers and giraffes. I can stand there all day and just observe them, they are such beautiful animals. And I love watching people’s faces when they feed the giraffes for the first time because they always have the funniest reactions to the long tongue.
What is your favorite part about the Dallas Zoo?

If you are still trying to figure out what to do for this weekend, I suggest doing the boat cruise on July 3rd. The Sounds Like Boat Party is with Ishi an Pointbender. It will be on the Lone Star Lady Boat. We will be leaving from Lake Grapevine – Silver Lake Marina, 2500 Fairway Drive, Grapevine, TX. They will start boarding at 5p.m. and we should be back around 10p.m.
It’s an America Themed Party. So make sure to wear red, white, and blue. There will be BBQ and plenty to drink on the boat. We will also get to see a fireworks show off the boat. I love watching shows that are over the water. They are so much more beautiful. Tickets are $35. You must be 21 years old and up with Valid I.D.
Have you been on a boat party before? This is my first one, so I am super excited!

This past weekend I went to a Mouth for Ad-Libs and it was absolutely hilarious! I went with a group of people and everyone had a really good time. Mouth is fairly new so a lot of people are not very familiar with it. The staff was very friendly and facility was clean. It’s located at 2626 Main Street in Dallas. It’s closely located to a few restaurants which is very convenient. We ate at Zini’s Pizzeria which was not too bad. Ad-Libs has shows every Friday and Saturday night
at 9pm. The tickets are $18 with reservations and $20 at the door.
Ad-Libs™ is an American Comedy Improv Troupe performing since 1986. The comedy’s subject matter uniquely blends video, scripted & improvisational comedy with plenty of audience participation. This creates a fun and interactive environment for each show.

& I thought Netflix was already everywhere.

Technology today has made everything more convenient for users, and there seems to be no stopping now. We want to get whatever we want at the moment we want it, and technology services continually innovate to keep up with this trend. I bring this up because Netflix, one of the already most convenient and widely available movie rental services, is now considering having their product offerings available on – wait for it – your phone.
Okay, not just any phone; it is rumored to only be on the iPhone, but this still comes as huge news. The CEO of Netflix has stated in the past that his service would be offered as an iPhone app “eventually, but recent reports have everyone wondering – is “eventually” now?
I think it’s great that Netflix wants to stay ahead of the game, and this is a very cool idea, but do I think it’s sensible? NO, and I probably won’t be using it. Would you?
